Translation services may be obtained for free via services such as Google Translate, Bing Translator, Yandex Translate etc.
All free online translation services are quite unreliable in terms of translation quality, so it is best to use their services for rough understanding of a shorter text. The text should be shorter because, for example, Google Translate has a translation limit of 5000 characters. If, however, you need a reliable translation for personal or business use, then it is best not to risk with automatic online translators – at least not when it comes to translations to and from Serbian.
Text proofreading online
There are no free internet services for text proofreading yet, at least not when it comes to proofreading of texts in Serbian. Besides, it is difficult to expect an automatic online proofreading service having in mind the fact that even human proofreaders often cannot agree regarding particular options and solutions.
Regarding English, there is an online service for that purpose called Grammarly, which will offer you up to 150 language error corrections in a text in English, free of charge. This service is used by more than 600 different universities in order to prevent plagiarism and copying graduation and scientific theses, since Grammarly has an option of automatic recognition of copied parts, i.e. of an unoriginal text. For those people who often write in English and do not handle its orthography very well, maybe Grammarly is not such a bad choice.
